Over the past 3 weeks I have seen wind farms in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Typically it was from the highway several miles from the farm. This past week I had the pleasure to visit one up close in Pigeon Michigan. They are monstrosities! Very big! Very high tech and futuristic in fact. Someone could shoot a scifi film around one and get away with it, seriously that's how it makes me feel. I expected to see Woody Allen pop out from behind one with a lightbulb in his mouth:) Here are a few photos from when they were installing these bad boys + link to all the photos from installation day below....

In the second photo, where the orange cones are located, is as close as I got to one. The size of them was still impressive. Then looking around and seeing 30+ of them just blows your mind. I got the same feeling when standing next to the Arch in St. Louis at the sheer size.

I have been involved in satellite communications since 1991. This is my 8th year on this project. I have been marketing, installing and supporting satellite delivered broadband solutions since 1996 and if you can't tell, am pretty passionate about helping folks in last mile America (and beyond) receive broadband @ their homes, businesses and some day, their RV's and mobile sites such as campgrounds and their vacation spots. Please call or write if you have any questions....Thomas 800-761-9149
